Stallcombe House employs an on-site Training Co-ordinator and NVQ Assessor who arranges all external and internal training. All new staff undergo a comprehensive induction period. Staff who have been employed since April 2002 undertake a ‘Skills for Care Induction Standards’ based induction and foundation learning programme that has been designed at Stallcombe.
Staff are encouraged to work towards the Diploma in Health and Social Care at the level appropriate for their role.

We are committed to providing relevant, effective and up to date training, organised by our in-house Training Co-ordinator/NVQ Assessor and Health, Safety and Fire Advisor. We also offer a comprehensive training programme that covers mandatory training, and further training and development in specialised areas, as identified in individual supervision and appraisal sessions.
